I bought this to use while working out. We have slippery floors and I prefer to workout bare foot. I wear socks because I slide if I don’t. But overall I am really happy with it.

Works well for my home gym. I've purchased 2 packs to fit power rack + olympic dumbbell.
It's thick enough for my purposes.
Not planning on throwing weights onto floor though, if you do that you might want to look into thicker mats or have double layer.
